How do I get honest feedback without asking my friends?
Don't ask them. They already know you, they already like you, and they will fill in the gaps you didn't say out loud. Book a free 30-minute call with a stranger who has none of that context. There's a longer note on honest feedback if you want the why.
Is feedback from strangers better than feedback from friends?
It's cleaner. A stranger can't finish your sentences or protect your feelings, so you find out what the work actually carries on its own. Friends are for encouragement. Strangers are for the read you'd get in the room.
Who will I be talking to?
A stranger — sometimes someone who does this for a living, sometimes someone who just has good taste. First names only. You won't get a profile to dig through.
What if I get matched with someone who knows nothing about my field?
Often that's the point. If you specifically need an expert, say so when you book and we'll try — no promises.
Do I have to show my face or my real name?
First name is all we show. Camera off is fine. Nothing is recorded.
What if the session goes badly?
Leave at any point, rate honestly, book another. The code of conduct is short and we enforce it.
Do I have to give feedback to others?
No. Never a requirement. You're welcome to join as a feedback giver, and most people eventually do.
